The BubbaBall™ is a training aid designed to strengthen a player’s hands, wrists, and arms. The dimpled surface tells you that it is intended for outdoor use. The BubbaBall is a training aid designed for Field Hockey players of all ages. The BubbaBall is so heavy that it is ILLEGAL for game play. A legal hockey ball weighs between 156 and 163 grams. While maintaining the same diameter and circumference of a legal hockey ball, the Bubba is engineered to weigh in at more than 200 grams. The surface of the BubbaBall is dimpled and it is half white and half red. The distinctive coloring was selected to help make the BubbaBall easy to spot if it gets mixed in with legal balls.
 
USING A BUBBABALL
The Bubba will help players strengthen their hands, wrists, and lower arms while practicing fine-motor ball-handling skills. It is also useful for building strength and using developing skill while pushing and flicking.
 
DO NOT HIT A BUBBABALL
Using the hitting action to play the BubbaBall could damage a hockey stick. Only use dribbling, pushing, and flicking actions to move the Bubba.
